As you can see in some of my pictures in earlier posts, I am a proud owner of the famous Dolly Wink Eyeliner (thanks to Naomi <3). I want to share my experiences with you.
Yes I know, this doesn’t mean anything to the qualitiy of cosmetics, but I love cute things and so the design does influence me. I miss this cuteness in germany, all products are boresome designed. ..Whatever o(≧∇≦o)
The eyeliner has a very very thin tip. Most of these brush-alike eyeliner do not really draw the line with the tip, because after a few times of use, they run dry or deform (had this experience with the Manhattan Japanese Ink Eyeliner). But this eyeliner is absolutely amazing. Used it a few times and it still has it’s super thin tip.
Another point is the longlasting black color (or brown if u use the brown eyeliner). I draw two lines on the back of my hand (see in the picture) and they were visible up to two days! I showered, washed my hands and used lotion, but the lines were still there. If you rub accidentally over your eye – the line is still clean. Sometimes, my eyelines are “worn out”, the line blurs. The Dolly Wink liner is still clean after a few hours of shopping. I advise you to use a primer, because it isn’t waterproof though, and the skin on my hand is differently from the skin around my eyes.
I’m so sorry! I forgot to take a picture after two days!! (>_<;) but it’s true!!
After all, it’s easy to remove, because it isn’t really waterproof. This is a disadvantage for me, because sometimes my eyes are watering, because they’re dry or I don’t know, and then the eyeliner “wing” disappears. This is why I prefer waterproof ones.
Here’s one of my everyday looks with the Dolly Wink Eyeliner:
Ya, I know my eye’s a bit scary, but so you can see the line the best. My opinion is, the Dolly Wink Eyeliner totally worth it’s price. I will buy it again. The thing is, it’s not available in germany.. （；へ：）
Until next time!
